We celebrated liqing's birthday yesterday at essential brew with the usual clique.. this restaurant has a bdae celebration package but muz have at least 8 ppl..
The package includes:
1) appertizers(grilled tofu steak & baby potatoes)
2) main course
3) free flow of ZOC(iced oolong tea)- it's iced lemon tea but they use fresh oolong tea
4) dessert(apple crumble wif ice-cream
5) promotional gifts
6) bdae decoration
7) ice-cream cake(optional)
We did not order their cake.. but in the end we had 2 bdae cakes for liqing(1 bought by her bf & 1 by our clique)
The restaurant is located at holland v.. yesterday was my second time there.. they have 2 different kind of seats.. one is the normal table and chairs.. the other one is where we seat on cushions.. but our legs do get numb after seating too long on the cushion.. especially for horng bor who has very long legs as he is very tall.. it was the first time most of us chatted wif him.. i've the same sentiment as chengwei.. liqing's bf is very friendly(i still dunno wat's his name).. just realised yesterday tat her bf live in my opposite block.. it's such a coincidence.. i got a ride from liqing and her bf.. really appreciate it.. wonder when all of us can meet again as we are busy..
Finally, i got a job and will be reporting for work this mon.. i receive tis job notice from an agent the latest.. yet the company was the first to shortlist me.. admin job at unitor ship service(pandan loop).. i think abt a 20-25mins bus journey from my hse.. 830am-5.20pm(it's a weird time) from mon to fri.. $6/hr for normal hours.. OT rate is 1.5 times the normal rate for after office hrs and sat.. sun and public holidays is double the rate..
